Knit & Crochet Dishcloth Care

General Knit & Crochet Cotton Dishcloth Information:

• Dishcloths are available in both Knit and Crochet.
• Colors may vary by season.
• Special order colors and sizes are available!
• Our dishcloths are Handmade in the USA.
• We use the same 100% cotton yarn for our dishcloths as we use for our crocheted toppers, so color matching is easy!
• We recommend washing your new dishcloths before the first use.
• For maximum absorbency, do not use fabric softener.

Care Instructions for Our Hand Knit & Crochet Dishcloths:

• Machine Wash and Dry with like colors.
• Dark/bright colors may bleed.
• Due to the 100% cotton nature of our dishcloths, slight shrinkage may occur when dried in a dryer.
• Knit and crochet dishcloths that have shrunk in the dryer tend to regain their size when wet.

Sour or Musty Dish Cloth?

• We recommend washing smelly dishcloths in a load of laundry with a light amount of bleach to remove bad odors. It doesn’t take much bleach to kill odors!
• You may also choose to use a clean dishcloth daily, adding it to the dishwasher at the end of the day along with supper’s dirty dishes.
• Due to possible fire hazard, we do not recommend sanitizing your dishcloths in the microwave!
